An eye-catching and very original set of Kuchi old silver earrings from Afghanistan. Their shape seems to be a variant of the openwork silver dome shape design, classic in the area, which local name means -birdcages-. The Kuchi people, from the Persian -koch- meaning migration, are Afghan pashtoons nomads divided in a number of tribes that inhabit areas of Afghanistan and, to a lesser extent, Pakistan.
